Results….TaDa!

Today I “unveiled” the Fabric that was Snow Dyed…

I’m pretty happy with the results…after all, it’s my first experiment “snow dying”.

So, it did snow last night....again!

So, it did snow last night….again!

After some shoveling, I went down to wash out the “cured” fabrics and wash them with synthropol and hot water, dry them in the dryer, and then bring them upstairs for a final ironing.

Here’s the final results:

I like the way the two dyes interacted with the white in between–almost looks like ice or snow.

So…what do you think?  Are you going to give “snow dying” a try before the winter is over?  (Or for you lucky enough to already have green lawns, try it with ice or shaved ice.
